Why Lembas asks for platform access
Lembas connects to Twitch, YouTube, and Kick so it can help you monitor stream state, read supported live chat, show platform health, and update stream details when you choose to publish from Stream Prep.
Twitch
- Reads basic account information needed to identify the connected channel.
- Reads supported chat events for the private Chat Dock and attention signals.
- Updates stream title and category when you use Stream Prep publishing.
- Checks whether your channel appears live for Stream Monitor.
YouTube
- Reads channel and live broadcast information for connected-account setup and live-state checks.
- Reads supported live chat when an active live broadcast is available.
- Updates live broadcast metadata when you use Stream Prep publishing and have granted write permission.
Kick
- Reads basic user and channel information needed to identify the connected channel.
- Subscribes to supported chat events through Kick webhooks.
- Checks live stream state for Stream Monitor.
- Updates supported stream metadata when you use Stream Prep publishing and have granted write permission.
What Lembas does not do
- Lembas does not restream video.
- Lembas does not post announcements automatically to social platforms.
- Lembas does not ban, timeout, or moderate across platforms unless those capabilities are intentionally built later.
