Common questions
FAQ
What is Lembas?
Lembas is a lightweight stream operations helper for multistreamers. It brings chat, stream prep, viewer memory, stream ideas, moments, tools, announcements, and platform health into one place.
Is Lembas a restreaming service?
No. Lembas does not send your video feed to other platforms. You keep using your normal streaming setup, and Lembas helps manage the operational parts around the stream.
Which platforms does Lembas support?
Lembas is built around Twitch, YouTube, and Kick workflows. TikTok is not a supported production integration right now.
What is the Chat Dock?
The Chat Dock is a private dock you can open in OBS or a browser. It helps you watch chat across connected platforms, answer questions, save viewer notes, mark moments, and capture stream ideas.
Does Lembas show merged chat on my stream?
No. Lembas is private by default. The Chat Dock is meant for the streamer to use while live, not as an automatic public overlay.
Can Lembas update my stream title and category?
For supported connected platforms, Lembas can publish stream prep changes when the platform API and your granted permissions allow it. Platform Health will show when a reconnect or permission change is needed.
Do I need OBS to use Lembas?
No. OBS is optional. You can use Lembas from a normal browser, but the Chat Dock is designed to work well as an OBS Custom Browser Dock.
What does Lembas store?
Lembas stores your account/workspace details, connected platform records, chat messages received by Lembas, viewer notes, stream prep data, moments, tools, announcement templates, and billing state.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can request account and workspace data deletion from the Data Deletion page. You can also disconnect platforms from Platform Health.
How much does Lembas cost?
Lembas is built around a simple monthly subscription. Current pricing and billing controls are shown on the Billing page before checkout.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You can cancel from Billing. If you cancel, subscriber access remains available until the end of the current paid period.
What should I do if a platform stops working?
Open Platform Health first. It shows token, webhook, live detection, and chat freshness diagnostics, plus what action to take next. You can also contact support with workspace diagnostics attached.
